हे जिजीविषा!
जिसने हाथ मेरा थामा था
तुम सबसे पहली थीं
भय ने मन को जब जकड़ा था
तुमने तब कसमें दी थीं
एक कसम थी सबमे न्यारी
साथ नहीं छोड़ोगी
उस परम प्रिय प्राण प्यारी
से भेंट ना जब तक होगी
आज तुम्हें देख जाता मैं
फिर भय से घिरता हूँ
डरते-डरते, ना चाहते भी
इंतजार करता हूँ
तय है मिलना प्राण प्रिय से
इसमे क्या छलना है
संग तुम्हारे भयमुक्त
अन्यथा मरना है

Jisne haath mera thaama tha
Tum sabse pehli thiin
Bhaya ne man ko jab jakda tha
Tumne tab kasmein dii thiin
Ek kasam thi sabmein nyaari
Saath nahi chhodogi
Us param priy praan pyaari
Se bhent na jab tak hogi
Aaj tumhein dekh jaata main
Phir bhay se ghirta hoon
Darate-darate, na chahte bhi
Intezaar karta hoon
Tay hai milna praan priy se
Ismein kya chalna hai
Sang tumhaare bhayamukt
Anyathaa marna hai
