भाग्य किसका?

उड़ता हुआ कहीं दूर से
आ गिरा एक बीज
धरा की गोद में

फूटा वात्सल्य भू के
फिर ह्रदय में
करेगी पालना
पोषण उसे वह देगी
वह देगी वह परिवेश
कि पेड़ बन सके वो

बीज धीमे-धीमे
था बढ़ रहा
पहले अंकुरण
फिर पौध में
प्रेषित हुआ
पा घाम पानी
और चढ़ता ही गया
यों आकाश से
नज़रें मिलाने हो चला

बन चुका है आज वह
वह वृक्ष जो
था बनना लिखा
भाग्य में

क्या यह भाग्य नहीं
कि बीज था वृक्ष का
ना कि तिनका कोई दूब का

क्या यह भाग्य नहीं
कि धरा बनी उसकी माता
न कि कोई ताल पानी से भरा

हाँ, यह भाग्य है
जो ऐसा सब हुआ
पर भाग्य किसका
उस वृक्ष का
या धरा
या कि स्वयं
उस बीज का

Bhagya Kiska?

Udata hua kahin door se
Aa gira ek beej
Dhara ki god mein

Phoota vatsalya bhu ke
Phir hriday mein
Karegi palna
Poshan use woh degi
Woh degi woh parivesh
Ki ped ban sake woh

Beej dheere-dheere
Tha badh raha
Pehle ankuran
Phir paudh mein
Presit hua
Pa gham paani
Aur chadhata hi gaya
Yon aakash se
Nazar milane ho chala

Ban chuka hai aaj woh
Woh vriksh jo
Tha banna likha
Bhagya mein

Kya yah bhagya nahin
Ki beej tha vriksh ka
Na ki tinka koi doob ka

Kya yah bhagya nahin
Ki dhara bani uski mata
Na ki koi taal paani se bhara

Haan, yah bhagya hai
Jo aisa sab hua
Par bhagya kiska
Us vriksh ka
Ya dhara
Ya ki swayam
Us beej ka
